重听题是新托福听力考试的某篇文章结束后,其中某一题采取再次复听,然后根据所听来做推断既而回答题目的形式来考查考生。很多学生表示对重听题很无感,听一遍脑子根本反应不出什么意思就过去了。今天这篇文章带大家熟悉重听题特点,了解解题套路。

重听题的特点


这种题型属于测试考生的实际理解的能力,包括说话者对某一事物和态度的看法以及说话者的目的。从这个意义上说这种题型也是推断题、目的题和态度题,算是“新形式,旧题型”了。

重听题是推断题

例:TPO16 Lecture4 第6题

What does the professor imply when she says this?

A. It is unfortunate that people in the 19th century destroyed old stained-glass windows.

B. Stained-glass windows made in the 19th century are more beautiful than those made earlier.

C. It was necessary for people in the 19th century to break stained-glass windows.

D. Stained-glass windows made in the 19th century are more valuable today than windows in previous centuries.

· 重听内容

Student: They actually broke them? That showed good judgment, real foresight, didn’t it?

Professor: Yes, if only they had known.Uh, and it’s not just that old stained glass is really valuable today, we lost possibly great artwork.

· 题目分析

学生说到They actually broke them?能够说明他们好的判断力,或者真正的远见吗?学生用反义疑问句说明工作人员换玻璃时将这些老式玻璃打碎说明他们没有远见。

接下来教授赞同了学生,说到if only they had known,意思就是如果他们知道打碎玻璃是没有远见的就好了,不是说这些老式的镶窗玻璃到今天会有多么有价值,而是我们可能lost possibly great artwork。

从上述内容可以看出教授说这些是为了表明在19世纪摧毁哪些玻璃是很遗憾很不幸的。因此本题答案为A选项。

· 总结

从题目的标志词来看What does the professor imply,这道题就是一道推断题,解题思路跟推断题也是一样的,因此重听题可以说是放在最后一题位置的推断题。

A. To point out an error.

B. To illustrate a point.

C. To propose an explanation.

D. To correct a misunderstanding.

· 重听的内容

So the octopus has the ability to mimic both the color and the texture of its environment.And it’s truly amazing how well it can blend in with its surroundings. You can easily swim within a few feet of an octopus and never see it.

· 题目分析

在上面的内容里,第一句就是这段话的主旨句,章鱼有 mimic both the color and the texture of its environment这种能力。接下来的内容都是对章鱼这种能力解释和描写,因此推断出教授说这些是为了表达自己的一种观点。

· 总结

从重听的内容们只能得出教授说章鱼有模仿它生活环境的质地和颜色。但是教授为什么要说这些呢?可以从内容推断出是为了表明自己的观点,因此这不仅是一道重听题,更是一道目的题,用事实和例子达到自己的目的。这种题的逻辑性比较强,需要同学们需要根据几句话之间的关系,推断出教授说这些话的目的。
